Abstract

Rapid technological advancement, globalization, competitive demands from customers have generated the need to investigate the necessity for developing and maintaining sustainable workforce through effective human resource management. In order to do so, innovative HRM strategies and policies have been adopted by organizations. The present article makes an attempt to discuss some of the above issues and practices related to this issue adopted by Indian companies.
