Abstract

Leptadenia reticulata is used as a traditional medicine for the treatment of several diseases. The antibacterial activity of L. reticulata was evaluated using the “disc diffusion method”. Amongst the three extracts tested, chloroform extract showed high antibacterial activity against E. coli, alcoholic extract against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and petroleum ether extract against Klebsilla pneumonia
