Online published on 28 April, 2023. Abstract Experiments were conducted in Blackgram variety VBN 8 to study the efficacy of fungicides following seed treatment in controlling the Powdery mildew disease. Seven treatments (T1 to T7) and a Control (C) with three replications were used for the study. Seed treatment (ST) with imidacloprid17.8% SL at 5g kg−1 seed + foliar spray of Propiconazole 25EC (T2) recorded the lowest disease grade of 2 and a highest yield of 702 kg ha−1. The untreated control plot recorded a disease grade of 5 and a yield of 603 kg ha−1. Thus, T2 was the most effective composition in combating the Powdery mildew disease in Blackgram. Top Keywords Blackgram variety VBN 8, Powdery mildew disease, Imidachloprid 17.8% SL, Fungicides. Top | | |
