The C-terminal octapeptide fragment (OP-CCK) reproduces all the known biologic activities of the intact molecule. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect on gallbladder contraction of 20 ng/kg of OP-CCK intravenously in patients undergoing cholecystography. If a ≥ 1 and b ≥ 1, let us define Θ(a,b) as the smallest r = 0,1,2, …… for which either Ύr = a or Ύr = -b We can interpret Θ(a,b) as the duration of games in the classical ruin problem.
