Abstract The main objective of the present study is to examine the long-term changes in rural employment trends and future growth, and adaptation of agripreneurship model to overcome basic challenges in Indian agriculture. The paper identifies the problems in harnessing the potentiality of rural entrepreneurship. It focuses on the major hurdles faced by entrepreneurs especially in the field of marketing their products, in availing other inputs and components like water supply, electricity, transport services, and credit facilities. The findings of the study may be used to suggest strategies and policies for the future development of India's rural economy. Top |
