Status of post harvest technology of coconut and its products

Abstract

Coconut is an important plantation crop grown on about 2 million ha land. It is used extensively for edible oil and for industrial uses. It is also used for making several other products like coconut flour, skim milk powder, cake, vinegar, coconut shell charcoal, activated carbon etc. Post Harvest Technology used for processing of coconut and making various products from coconut are disused in this paper.
