Role of agricultural engineers in bringing normalcy after a natural disaster

Abstract

Natural disaster occur in some part of India almost every year and adversely affect agriculture and rural life. Engineering measures can help ill either preventing or millimising the impact of such disasters and through mechnacial efforts and support of IT can help in normalising life expeditiously. This paper discusses some of those measures which need to be adopted.
