Response of Foliar Feeding of Nutrients on Growth, Yield and Quality of Phalsa (Grewia Subinaequalis D.C.) Fruits Singh Pankaj, Singh H.K., Vishwanath, Pratap Bhanu Department of Fruit Science, College of Horticulture & Forestry, N.D. University of Agriculture & Technology, Kumarganj Faizabad, 224 229 (U.P). Abstract A field experiment was carried out during 2005–06 to assess the response of foliar feeding of nutrients on growth, yield and quality of phalsa fruit. The experiment was comprised with 8 treatment combinations of different nutrients concentration having 4 replications in randomized block design with one plant unit. Among all the treatments under this investigation, T8 (urea 2% + potassium sulphate 0.2% + copper sulphate 0.2%) followed by T5 (urea 2% + potassium sulphate 0.2%) proved to be most effective for improvement in vegetative growth, yield and physico-chemical properties of phalsa fruit. Top Key words Phalsa, nutrient feeding growth, yield, quality. Top | |
