Abstract

Today people are embracing and enjoying the benefits and facilities of e-retailing to the maximum. Majorly the popular portals like Shoppers Stop and Amazon are spreading the awareness all over the world and helping and encouraging people to understand the usage of online portals which is subsequently helping them to convert from offline shopping to online shopping. This case provides a comparative study of Amazon and Shoppers Stop which helps students to have a better understanding and enhance the knowledge about online shopping resulting in enriching the customer needs and requirements. It also examines the impact of competition on Amazon India and its comparison with Shoppers Stop. Since, these two companies varies in size and also in terms of growth students will require to use common size financial statements.
