Abstract The article discusses the use of modern information technologies and their application in the economy, as well as the benefits of e-commerce. The company may use specific periodic programs to make accurate decisions, including strategic goals, making it possible to generate a full range of statistical reporting that reflects the company's profitability simultaneously. Some support the development of the virtual universe, while others warn of uncertain consequences. But these changes in life have had a great impact on human life. The use of information and communication technologies is crucial in raising the competitiveness of the country's economy and its integration into the global economic system. However, the current level of information processing and data transfer allows small and medium-sized businesses to benefit from information and telecommunication technologies.
