Abstract The focus of this paper concerns a study of the quality of life for the employees of manufacturing units situated at rural area. The aim of the case is to determine the attributes of quality of life which affect the satisfaction level of employees of manufacturing industry employees and the implications of these findings suggest that quality of life in ABC can be enhanced by the attributes related to work and beyond the work. Work related attributes consist of rewards and recognition; giving importance to new joinee; reduce the existing hierarchy; delegation authority and responsibility; organization structure; facilities and infrastructure. Beyond work related attributes are involvement of top management; housing; shopping center; recreation; restaurant; club facilities; gym; open theater; road connectivity; education; medical; and help desk.
