The Relationship between Knowledge Management and Job Satisfaction among Mellat Bank Employees in Tehran Province

Abstract

The research aims to investigate the relationship between knowledge management and job satisfaction of Mellat Bank employees (working in District 3 Branches) in Tehran Province. The present study is a functional one which in terms of data collection would be categorized as a descriptive survey and of correlational type. In order to data collection, the researcher used a questionnaire included 30 questions. The validity of the questionnaires was assessed by factor analysis and the opinion of the relevant faculty members as well. The reliability of the questionnaires was measured through Cronbach's alpha which was achieved 89.2%. The statistical population of the study was 951 people. Using a determined sample size 208 employees were randomly selected from the statistical population. The findings indicated that there was a significant relationship between knowledge management dimensions and job satisfaction, and there was also a significant relationship between knowledge management and job satisfaction in a way that the relationship has a positive correlation.
