Abstract The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of personality characteristics on the willingness to reinvest. Target population of the study includes present investors in Tehran Stock Exchange. The analysis did on a sample of 355 investors. In this study, to test the hypotheses of the study a questionnaire was used. The study in terms of purpose is application-descriptive and in terms of judging on data is field-library as well as the relationship between the variables is of the correlation type. Data analysis was done using SPSS and Lisrel. The results showed that among personality characteristics, personality spirit has statistically significant effect on the willingness to reinvest. However, other indicators including canniness, organization and participation, have not statistically significant effect on the willingness to reinvest. However, in general, based on the main hypothesis of the study, personality characteristics may affect willingness to reinvest.
