The relationship of procrastination, resilience and job satisfaction among staff of Isfahan Doctor Shariati Hospital

Abstract

This study aims to investigate relationship between procrastination, resilience and job satisfaction among staff of Isfahan Doctor Shariati Hospital. Considering importance of reducing procrastination and increasing resilience and job satisfaction in providing optimal health care and customers ’job satisfaction, in this study it is tried by investigating the relationship between components, a step can be taken towards reduction of costs of organization and society and increase community health level and satisfaction of customers, employees and officials. The population of this study consist of all non-physician staff of Shariati Hospital in year 2015 that reported to be 930 people. Data analysis is done by using SPSS software. Results indicate that organizational procrastination level and components of inefficiency and aversion of duty are lower than average and mental anxiety level is higher than average. Staff resilience level is higher than average and rate of job satisfaction and satisfaction of work, supervisor and superior colleague is higher than average, income rate is lower than average and job promotion is average. From among studied variables, resilience is the best predictor of job satisfaction also, there is significant relationship among inefficiency of procrastination and work, supervisor and job satisfaction but there is no significant relationship between job aspects and colleague. There is a significant positive relationship between resiliency and work, supervisors, and colleague from job satisfaction. There is no significant relationship between resiliency and payment aspects and promotion from job satisfaction and there is a significant relationship between inefficiency of procrastination and resiliency and there is no significant relationship among aspects of mental encourage and aversion of duty from organizational procrastination.
