Online Published on 13 February, 2024. Abstract Twenty five novel Isoxazole heterocycles are synthesized and characterized by IR, NMR and CHN analysis. Physico-chemical characteristics also notified. In the first step chalcones are synthesized by the reaction of aromatic aldehydes with aromatic ketones in aqueous alcoholic alkaline medium. These are made to react with hydroxylamine hydrochloride and sodium acetate to prepare title compounds. All synthesized compounds analyzed for obedience of Lipinsky’s rule. Six of the compounds showed slight violation to oral dosage form suitability. Most of the compounds were solid in nature and gave good yield.
