Impact of Reproduction on Maternal Health: A Study on Kohima District of Nagaland

Abstract

Women play the crucial role in country as the control of population growth largely depends on her. So maternal health should be taken more care. The research is on the “Impact of Reproduction on maternal health”. The study took place on Kohima, District of Nagaland. The purpose of this study was based on purposive sampling where the researcher attended the houses of the female who has already attended their motherhood. The scope of this study is to figure out the health condition of the mother and steps to be taken. The methodology involved interviews and questionnaires, besides library materials, written documents and also some unpublished articles. Apart from this, the writer has also made use of his personal experiences and observation. Through the study of women health, the women can get an overall idea of socio-economic causes and fertility rate.
