Teachers who have a good control and competence in classroom management along with sense of ethics in their job seems to have more satisfied students. The present study investigated the relationship between Iranian EFL teachers’ classroom management efficacy, teachers’ sense of ethics, and their students’ satisfaction. To achieve this end, Teachers’ Classroom Management Efficacy Scale by Burden (1995), Teachers’ Sense of Ethics Questionnaire developed by Schnake, Fredenberger, and Dumler, (2004), and Students’ Satisfaction Questionnaire (Elliott & Shin, 2002) were employed. 160 EFL teachers and 1600 students were surveyed in the study. The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was employed to test our hypotheses. Significant relations were found among the research variables and the hypothesized model of the study was confirmed. No relation was found between the aforementioned variables and the teachers’ gender, and experience. Top Keywords Classroom management, teachers’ sense of ethics, students’ satisfaction. Top |
