Employee Engagement in Information Technology Professionals as a Function of Gender Goyal Saumya*, Ajawani J. C.** *Research Scholar, Govt. Arts & Commerce Girls’ College, Raipur, India **H.O.D., Govt. Arts & Commerce Girls’ College, Raipur, India Online published on 14 October, 2016. Abstract This study examined employee engagement in Information Technology professionals as a function of gender. The sample comprised 320 IT professionals (160 males and 160 females) randomly selected from a larger population of IT professionals. Respondents were administered Employee Engagement Scale (EES) (Ajawani & Goyal, 2015) to measure their employee engagement level.
