Fuel Cell Application in Vehicle by Novel Fuzzy Logic Based DC-DC Converter

Abstract

A fuzzy logic based dc-dc converter is developed for fuel cell applications in Vehicles. In this new topology, high voltage gain is obtained with reduced number of transformer turns, which leads to low switching loss during charging and discharging of capacitors in serial or parallel combinations. The fuzzy logic controller is used for generation of PWM. This converter is suitable for electrical vehicle application.
