Abstract Sugar industry is one of the economic resources to the government among the industries in India. It is important to identify the optimization process at all steps. In this paper, I tried a priority queue for the incoming vehicles that are waiting in the queue for the delivery of sugarcane at the crushing section. During the transportation of the sugarcane, the loss factor is calculated. The loss factor is minimized when priority queue is utilized or engaged during the queuing process. This is compared with the non priority queue. This is explained with a neat example from a sugar factory in India. Top Keywords Transportation, Queuing of Vehicles, Priority and Non-Priority Queue.
