Abstract

Each and every stakeholder of a company will be intended to know its performance. It is a known fact that various factors influence the performance of an organization. Some of these factors are quantitative and some are qualitative in nature. The performance of the organization due to a particular factor can easily be determined. For e.g. the financial performance of an organization can be determined on the basis of net profits, the marketing performance can be determined by the net sales or their market share in the industry, and so on. However, considering all the factors simultaneously that influences the performance of an organization as a whole assume significantly. Hence, an attempt was made to study different factors that contribute to the performance of a manufacturing unit. The study was conducted with 170 samples. In order to evaluate the fitness of the factors studied, Structural equation modeling (SEM) was used. The results are compared with the recommended values and revealed that non-financial performance influence financial factors, which in turn influence the overall performance of the organisation.
