Wining Strategies of Powerloom Entreprenuers - A Study on selected Powerloom Units at Tirupur District, Tamilnadu, India

Abstract

The Indian textile industry largely include distinct sectors representing broadly three levels of technology and Organization, namely, mills Power looms and handloom. The power loom sector which over the last three decades has come to occupy a prominent position with a 22.05 lakh power looms in the country. The growth of the power loom industry started with the loosing of the ground by the textiles mills. The power looms were first introduced in India in the starting of the 20th century and has changed the looming sector drastically due to its technological advancements. This article analyses the successful qualities of entrepreneurs of powerloom sectors based on relaiability and factor analysis.
