Water management practices for rice – A review Solaimalai A., Sivakumar C., Chandrasekaran R., Sankaranarayanan K., Sudhakar G. Department of Agronomy, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore-641 003, India. Abstract Rice responds well to water management practices. The practice of land submergence in rice culture is widely adopted due to its many inherent advantages. However, attempts were made to economise water usage and maximise yield by intermittent submergence and similar other water management practices. Research carried out on other aspects on rice is reviewed in this paper. Top | | |
