Co-occurrence of complex and compound odontomas of mandible - A case report

Abstract

Odontoma, the most common odontogenic tumor encountered in the oral cavity, manifests as a hamartomatous growth comprising diverse dental tissues such as enamel, dentin, cementum, and occasionally pulp. The World Health Organization (WHO) outlines odontomas as two types- Compound odontoma and complex odontoma. The aim of this report is to presents an interesting case of a 20-year-old male patient with occurrence of Dual Pathology that is Complex and Compound odontomas in the Left Body of Mandible and its management with enucleation resulting in successful treatment without any complications.
