Online published on 29 February, 2024. Abstract Oral Submucous Fibrosis is one of the most common conditions in India leading to oral cancer. Despite the use of numerous therapeutic techniques, the outcomes are not very satisfactory. After conducting extensive investigation, we determined that placentrex was a more effective treatment than rest. We hereby present a case report of a 42-year-old male with OSMF stage 2with areca nutchewing habit who was treated conservatively with sub mucosal placentrex injection over the span of 3 months, patient presented with improved mouth opening and is now on regular follow up with no recurrence.
