Abstract

The central giant cell granuloma or CGCG is a benign intraosseous lesion of the jaw. It is found predominantly in children and young adults. These lesions are more common in mandible and that too anteriorto first molar. Radiographic features of CGCG vary from unilocular to large multilocular lesions. The histological picture consists of multinucleated giant cells with high vascular density. The management of CGCG varies from nonsurgical to surgical modalities depending upon the age of patient, size and site of lesion and the histopathology picture. Here is a rare case report of a patient with CGCG with unusual clinical presentation.
