Abstract GINGIVAL RECESSION IS DEFINED AS “DISPLACEMENT OF SOFT TISSUE MARGIN APICAL TO THE CEMENTO-ENAMEL JUNCTION.” THE PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE IN THE TREATMENT OF GINGIVAL RECESSION IS TO COVER THE EXPOSED ROOT SURFACES TO IMPROVE ESTHETICS AND TO REDUCE HYPERSENSITIVITY. DIFFERENT SOFT TISSUE GRAFTING PROCEDURES HAVE BEEN PROPOSED IN THE GINGIVAL RECESSIONS. FREE GINGIVAL GRAFTS (FGGS) ARE A RELIABLE METHOD FOR TREATMENT OF GINGIVAL RECESSION.THIS PAPER DESCRIBES THE MANAGEMENT OF MILLER,S CLASS II GINGIVAL RECESSION WITH INADEQUATE KERATINEZED GINGIVA HAVING SHALLOW VESTIBULE IN A 25 YR OLD FEMALE WITH A FREE GINGIVALAUTOGRAFT.
