Early diagnosis is very important so that complications in dental arch development and occlusion, including aesthetic problems are avoided in certain conditions. If left untreated, it can lead to serious complications depending on the location of odontoma like if present in maxillary sinus can cause chronic sinusitis. It can also cause obstruction of sinus drainage. If obstruction of sinus drainage is evident, it can lead to serious complications such as orbital infections, epidural and subdural empyema, meningitis, cerebritis, cavernous sinus thrombosis, brain abscess and death. This paper throws light on different presentation of intraosseous odontomes, erupting as well as unerupting.
