Abstract In this case report we present a patient in which a maxillary denture was fitted with a suction cup causing a round, depressed inflamed area of epithelial indentation on the center of the palate due to prolonged use of a denture. Awareness of existing prosthodontic practices is important to recognize and manage such a case for the restoration of tissue health and prevention of further tissue damage.
