Abstract Patients seeking orthodontic treatment for gingival esthetic problems fall into two categories; one is that created by excessive display of gingiva and other is that created by gingival recession after periodontal bone loss. This article presents orthodontic management of a case of an adult female who was aesthetically conscious about the gingival recession and flaring of her lower incisors.The case also shows improvement in gingival health as well as decrease in mobility with gain in bone height bone through orthodontic intervention.
