Abstract The aim of the study was to investigate the efficacy of CPP-ACP containing tooth mousse on the remineralization of enamel lesions and to compare its efficacy to fluoride containing tooth paste. 30 premolar teeth were placed in demineralizing solution for 96 hours to produce artificial caries-like lesions. They were sectioned into half and ground sections were prepared. Samples were randomly assigned into two groups: Group A:: Fluoridated toothpaste, Group B: Tooth Mousse containing CPP-ACP. Group B showed a significant decrease in lesion depth after the specified treatment when compared to Group A. CPP-ACP containing Tooth Mousse remineralized initial enamel lesions and showed a higher remineralizing potential than fluoridated toothpaste.
