The teeth are one of the major elements influencing the appearance of complete denture. Several measurements have been suggested for estimating width of anterior teeth. So this study was conducted to determine if a relationship exists between maxillary and mandibular anterior teeth width with the length of index, middle, ring and little finger. Materials and methods In this study investigation was conducted in dentulous patients. Maxillary and mandular teeth widths were measured from the casts and fingers measurements were taken using a customized device with the help of vernier calipre. Results The data was statistically analyzed with the use of software to determine whether any correlation existed between maxillary and mandibular anterior teeth width with the length of index, middle, ring and little finger. Conclusion No significant correlation exists between maxillary and mandibular anterior teeth measurements and index, middle, ring, little fingers measurements. Top |
