Online published on 18 March, 2019. Abstract “The Perfect Smile” has been the object of desire of man since time immemorial. With the advancement in cosmetic dentistry, the aforementioned plethora of esthetic woes can be changed and restored to more desirable form. Replacement of maxillary anterior teeth in patients with natural diastema present problems as the increased mesio-distal space makes it difficult to give normal fixed prosthesis with rigid connector. Selection of the treatment depends on mulitiple factors viz. preservation of natural tooth structure, patient's expectations and the expertise of the prosthodontist. If an implant-supported prosthesis is not possible or not selected as a treatment option, loop connector fixed partial denture may be the best solution to maintain the diastema and esthetics. This paper will provide the procedure of replacing missing teeth with loop connector fixed partial prosthesis while maintaining diastema.
