Hysterothylacium sinensium N.SP. (Nematoda: anisakidae) from marine fish, Stromateus sinensis day from bay of Bengal Lakshmi I. Rajya Department of Zoology, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam-530 003, India Online published on 22 February, 2013. Abstract Hysterothylaciurn sinensium n.sp. from the stomach of Strornateus sinensis Day from Visakhapatnam has been described. The specimens do not agree with the description of known species of the genus, Hysterothylacium Ward and Magath, 1917, hence a new species Hysterothylacium sinensium has been established to describe these nematodes. The species is distinguished by body size, shape and number of spiral thickenings, position of nerve ring and excretory pore, length of spicules, number and arrangement of caudal papillae, vulva position and shape of tail end.
