The litter biomass on the floor of different agroforestry systems varied between 498 and 1142 kg ha−1. Greater litter biomass was observed during the dry season and in the early winters and lowest accumulation was during the wet season among all the systems. Homegardens recorded the highest litter accumulation in its floor. Leaf litter biomass overweighed the woody and miscellaneous part of the total litter biomass across the seasons. The proportion of leaf, woody and miscellaneous fraction of litter ranged between 55.87% and 74.31%, 25.48%, and 11.87% and 32.68%, respectively, of the total litter mass on the agroforestry floor in different agroforestry systems.
