A Comparative Study of Leadership Styles in Different Organizational Settings Shukla Tanu, Research Scholar National University of Educational Planning and Administration, New Delhi, Email: tanushukla8@gmail.com. Abstract There has been an outburst of literature about leadership recently. Leadership is one of the chief areas of study at the present time. Effective leadership associated with the shared approach can serve as a powerful force to achieve success in a fast paced culture. They are created through the trials and problems of managing people in a variety of settings. The conquest of an organization depends upon the vibrant and effective leadership. Thus taking this view, the present study intends at examining the comparisons of leadership style in different types of organizational settings. The study explores that in any kind of organization, be it governmental or nongovernmental, it is the situation that determines the particular leadership style of an organization and the participative management helps to build conducive environment to work for employees of organization.
