Mastitis in cattle and buffalo in district Ambala (Haryana) Bhanot Vandna, Mehla O.P., Bhanot Kamadeep Disease Investigation Laboratory, Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Near Court Road, Ambala City -134003 Online published on 5 August, 2015. Abstract A total of 120 milk samples from 67 buffalo and 53 cattle were tested for mastitis. The prevalence of mastitis in buffalo was 88% while in cattle 98%. The prevalence of clinical and subclincal mastitis in buffalo was 14.9%, 85% and in cattle 29.2%, 77.3% respectively. Enrofloxacin was found most sensitive drug both in cattle and buffaloes. Top | |
