Abstract An experiment was conducted at Department of Horticulture, Bundelkhand University Jhansi to determine the role of growth regulators on gladiolus cv. American beauty during the rabi season (2004-05). The results revealed that GA3 was positively significant at 5% as it produces earliest sprouting of gladiolus and produce remarkable increase on number of sprouts per corn.
