Abstract A field experiment was conducted during the summer season of 1994 and 1995 to study the effect of phosphate fertilization, P- solubilizer and plant population on yield and quality of summer groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.). The pod yield was significantly higher under 75 kg P2O5/ha application along with P-solubilizer and with a population density of 0.33 million plants/ha (30 cm x 10 cm). Similarly, higher protein percentage and oil content were also observed with 0.33 million/ha, P-solubiiizer and 75 kg P2O5/ha. Top Keywords Groundnut yield, Phosphate fertilizer, P-solubilizer, Protein, Oil. Top | |
