Abstract Rice is one of the most prevailing crop in Haryana. This paper attempts to examine how different determinants affect the productivity of rice in Haryana. The ARDL (auto-regressive distributed lag) model is formed with total data accessible over the time of 1995-to 2018 and both the Augmented Dickey-Fuller-test (ADF) and Phillips-Perron Test (PP) alongside the Johansen co-incorporated test and sequential relationship were done to as execution of the model. Agricultural productivity in kg/hectare is a dependent variable. The five independent variables are fertilizers in kg/hectare, rainfall in mm, electricity in agricultural in percentage, irrigated area is 000 hectares and area under cultivation in 000 hectares. The estimated result shows that the rainfall, consumption of electricity, fertilizer, and irrigation have a positive impact on rice productivity on the other hand area under cultivation has a negative impact on the productivity of rice.
