Abstract The present study comprised six animals in each age group viz. 0–1 year, 1–2 years, 2–3 years and above 3 years was conducted to evaluate the age wise differences in hematological and biochemical parameters. Significant differences in hematological and biochemical parameters according to different age groups have been observed. Hb, lymphocytes, Hct, TEC, glucose, calcium, ALP, total bilirubin, direct bilirubin and triglycerides was recorded highest in age group 0–1 year while TLC, potassium, albumin and AST was highest in age group 1–2 year. In age group 2-3year, MCHC, creatinine and total protein was recorded to be the highest while monocytes, neutrophils, MCH, MCV, chloride, BUN and ALT was highest in animals of >3 year.
