Online published on 8 October, 2014. Abstract The success of endodontic therapy requires knowledge of the internal and external dental anatomy and its variations in presentation. Aberrant morphology of root canals can occur in any tooth, including maxillary lateral incisors. The internal anatomy of the maxillary lateral incisor is well known and usually presents with one root and one radicular canal system. This case report describes a nonsurgical endodontic treatment of a maxillary lateral incisor with two roots canal systems, demonstrated by clinical and radiographic examinations.
