Abstract

End osseous dental implants have become a significant factor in prosthodontics and restorative dentistry since the early 1970s. Despite the many advances in techniques, materials, and implant designs, the potential for clinical failure is a significant concern for both the dentist and patient. Hence, it is mandatory for every clinician to know, how and why the failures occur and how best we can prevent them in order to give the upcoming branch of dentistry a new horizon. So is the purpose of the article.
