Abstract

A severely resorbed mandible poses a clinical challenge for thefabrication of a successful complete denture. This article includes a laboratory procedure to make a hollow space between the two halves of the mandibular denture in order to reduce the weight of the prosthesis, which in turn exerted less pressure on the already resorbed mandibular ridge.
