Evaluation of Multivoltine Mulberry Silkworm (Bombyx Mori L.) Hybrids Khemnar S.S., Mokat R.B., Sutar A.V. Abstract The present investigations were carried out at Sericulture Research Unit, Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani (Maharashtra) to evaluate the performance multivoltine mulberry silkworm (Bombyx mori L.) hybrids. The results revealed that the multivoltine hybrid Mysore Princess x OS-616 was superior in terms of fecundity (433.00), single cocoon weight (1.107 g), single shell weight (0.167 g), shell ratio (15.08%) and cocoon yield/10000 larvae brushed (11.07 kg). Hybrid C. Nichi x Kolar Gold was significantly superior for lowest spinning period (46.63 hrs) and CB5 x G Race was significant for highest effective rate of rearing (99.66%).
