Persistence and residual toxicity of insecticides against Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius) in Cotton

Abstract

Among the insecticides evaluated against Bemisia tabaci on cotton, triazophos @ 1500 ml/ha persisted for 9.14 days while buprofezin @ 625 ml/ha persisted for shortest period of 2.19 days during 2015–16. However, during 2016–17, the LT50 values were found higher in case of buprofezin @ 1250 ml/ha (8.00 days) while buprofezin @ 625 ml/ha persisted for shortest period of 1.35 days.
