The results revealed that acephate 75SP at 0.075% was the most effective with 79.52% reduction of thrips, followed by fipronil 5SG at 0.005%, imidacloprid 0.0058% and emamectin benzoate 0.002%. Novaluron 0.01% and NSKE 5% resulted in the least mortality of thrips 42.6 and 43.9%, respectively. Thusacephate 75SP @ 1gm/l or fipronil 5SC @ 1ml/l could be suggested against thrips on capsicum under shade nethouse conditions.
