Abstract A field experiment conducted at the Shewa Robit research site, Debre-Birhan, Ethiopia during 2015 and 2017 evaluated the efficacy of insecticides against Apion clavipes Gerst. Lambda cyhalothrin and deltamethrin were observed to be superior resulting in reduced infestation, seed damage and increased yield followed by profenophos and spinosad.
