Significant reduction in population was obtained with imidacloprid 17.8 SL followed by acetamiprid 20 SP and thiamethoxam 25 WG. Thus, reduction in aphid population was to an extent of 65.83% with imidacloprid 17.8 SL followed by thiamethoxam 25 WG and acetamiprid 20 SP. The maximum yield was obtained with acetamiprid followed by imidacloprid and thiamethoxam. NSKE 5% was found to be the least effective. Maximum benefit/cost ratio (5.65: 1) was obtained with acetamiprid 20 SP.
