Online published on 18 April, 2020. Abstract Vermicompost is the major component of organic farming as it fulfils all the requirements of production and protection of crops. The Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Rudrur, Nizamabad conducted training programmes and demonstrations on the vermicompost technology to farmers of Nizamabad and Kamareddy district of Telangana. Level of knowledge and adoption by the trained farmers of Nizamabad district with 60 respondents constituted the study. The results revealed that majority of the respondents had medium level of knowledge on vermicompost technology and with them high level of adoption was observed in a significant manner.
